Swiss National Bank on the average sight deposits for the week ending 1 December
- Domestic banks CHF 475.2 bln vs 477.95 bln prior week
Domestic deposits got a bit of a dip but the numbers are consistent with prior data. Sight deposits are basically the accounts of banks that sit with the SNB and account for a major portion of liquidity within the financial system.
USD/CHF is currently trading at 0.9828, falling off highs posted earlier in the session of 0.9849.
