Forex technical analysis: EURGBP tests topside trend line and takes a breather

Carney due at 10:35ish

The EURGBP has surged higher as the GBP gets hit before Carney's testimony on Brexit.

The pair is up testing topside trend line on the daily chart at 0.8978. The high reached 0.8979 so far. We are not that far away from that level as the market prepares for Carney's remarks.

Over in the GBPUSD, it too has stalled at channel trend line support and is taking a breather ahead of the headlines.
