A snapshot of the major currencies, shows that the US dollar is the strongest currency as traders in North America begin their week. The dollar is responding (on a bit of a delay) to the Yellen comments from Friday that the Fed was still on course for tightening in 2015, and the overall policy differences between nations. The AUD is the weakest. Iron ore prices have moved to the lowest level since 2009. The call for lower rates in Australia is getting louder.
