USDCAD looks like it will close above its 100 day MA

The first close above the 100 day MA in 2018

The USDCAD is trading near session highs, and in the process looks as if the close will be above the 100 day MA at 1.26207. The last time the price closed above that MA was back on December 27th. So a close above today will be the first in 2018.

The price has traded above the 100 day MA on 5 separate days in 2018. The most recent high was at 1.2648. The high today has so far reached 1.2646. The 61.8% of the move down from the December high comes in at 1.26623. That is another target. The high for the year reached 1.26836, and the 200 day MA is at 1.27187.

Those are all targets now as long as the price stays above the 100 day MA.
