The NZD is the strongest. The

As North American traders enter for the day, the snapshot of the strongest and weakest shows that the NZD is the strongest currency, while the GBP is the weakest. The USD is mostly lower with the NZDUSD (down -0.72% and trading at the day highs) , but also lower against the EUR (-0.28% and trading near the high extreme), CHF (-0.22%) and AUD (-0.15%). The greenback is higher vs the GBP (+0.20%) and the JPY (+0.11).

The ranges and changes are ok for a Monday. The EURUSD has been above and below the unchanged line from Friday (trading at the highs), and has reached its 22 day average trading range (about a month of trading). The NZDUSD moved above its recent highs and has marched higher. It trades at the highest since April 25th.

  • European stocks are mixed. UK FTSE is up 0.54%, France CAC is up +0.17%. German Dax -0.30%, Spain's Ibex is down -0.17%, Italy FTSE MIB -0.95%
