Oil goes from one side to the other
Oil has been consolidating since hitting a cycle high in the first trading hours of the year. That move is running out of sideways real estate.
Yesterday, oil tried the lower limit of the uptrend and it held in what now looks like a three-candle reversal. The topside of the wedge is now under threat as today's crude gain stretches to nearly 3%.
