Above high at 114.80
The EURJPY is trading at new highs for the month of August. The pair is being helped by the USDJPY also breaking to new highs and above the 103.00 level. The USDJPY has not traded above the 103.00 level since July 29, 2016.
For the EURJPY, the previous August high extended to 114.80. The high price has just extended to 114.93.
In today's trading the pair also move above the 200 bar MA on the 4-hour chart at 114.46 and the 38.2% of the move down from July 21 high.at 114.65.
Looking at the daily chart of the EURJPY, the pair remains below the 50% of the Brexit move lower. That level comes in at 115.72. The pair this year peaked at 132.26. With the current price at 114.879, that is down by 13.1%. There is room to roam.
